CENTER CITY, Minn. (May 11, 2018) – After an extensive nationwide search, the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation has tapped an accomplished Chicago fundraising executive to be its new chief development officer.
“This is a key leadership position for us,” said Mark Mishek, president and CEO of the Minnesota-headquarted Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, which has 17 sites nationwide and will celebrate its 70th anniversary next year.
The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is on the front lines of a national effort to confront addiction and end an unprecedented opioid overdose epidemic that has killed hundreds of thousands of Americans over the past two decades.
“In this critical time, with the need for help only growing, philanthropy can play a pivotal role in the future of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation,” McGinley said.
She previously served in leadership positions at the Resurrection Development Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago, the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
